Originally from Edmonton Alberta currently living in Bend, OR. Paula started swimming at the age of 11, did cross country in high school and discovered triathlon late in high school and college. Paula Findlay shocked the world in 2010 when she became the first Canadian triathlete to win a World Triathlon Series event, taking first place in London in just her third start on the elite circuit. Struggling through her Olympic race Paula was late diagnosed with a pelvic fracture and severe iron defiency that took years to recover from. Her perserverance and determination has landed her back on top of the worlds best. After multiple wins and top 5 finishes, Paula is currently ranked #6 in the World.
